My work is deeply embedded in nature. The wild has called me all my life. The wild calls me in my art.

My wild calling has led me to be part of protector culture, leading me down the long and winding path of protest and desperate desire to see our wild places and wild ways kept safe.

​

My art practice is rooted in this lifelong obsession. I draw and paint with pens and inks and watercolours, natural to me as products of nature and the forest, functional for me as years of solvent exposure has left me struggling with severe allergies.

​

The personal natural of this work becomes political as the planet is decimated by greed, recklessly sprayed with devastating toxins and relentlessly abused by parasitical humans. I am fascinated by the people who stand against the odds to protect nature. To defend the wild, I stand with them. 

​
